Also, don’t skip the fluffy towels, your favorite body wash, and lotion—they’ll feel like pure luxury after hours of unpacking and rearranging furniture.
Include a small stash of matches or a lighter, along with scented candles or an essential oil diffuser. Creating a warm ambiance instantly makes your new space feel more inviting. And let’s not forget practical items like pens and a notebook for jotting down to-do lists, shopping lists, and reminders. Moving day is chaotic, and having a pen and paper handy will save you headaches later.
Stock up on basic tableware—plates, cups, cutlery, napkins, and a cozy blanket—for your first-night picnic. Think of it as a mini date night in your new home. Light some candles, sip on coffee, and enjoy the cozy vibe.
