Based on scientific research, the recommended application rate for high-quality farmyard manure in vegetable fields is between 3,000 to 5,000 kilograms per mu, and should not exceed 6,000 kilograms per mu. This balanced approach helps maintain soil fertility while minimizing potential health risks associated with nitrate buildup. It’s important for farmers to follow these guidelines to promote both agricultural productivity and public health.
