High horsepower tractor operation knowledge

1. Avoid engaging the clutch too quickly. Instead, gradually release the clutch pedal while appropriately increasing the throttle. Rushing this process can lead to severe shocks on the clutch assembly and transmission components, potentially causing damage.

2. Do not hold the secondary clutch in the released (disengaged) position for extended periods, as this can cause premature wear and damage to the clutch. Always ensure it is properly engaged when needed.

3. Never shift into neutral or press the clutch pedal while descending a slope. This can result in loss of control and potential accidents. Always keep the clutch engaged and use engine braking if necessary.

4. When steering a tractor, reduce the throttle or shift to a lower gear instead of using the unilateral brake system for sharp turns. Using only one brake can cause instability and increase the risk of tipping over.

5. Proper gear selection and working speed are crucial for safe and efficient tractor operation. Incorrect shifting can cause the steering wheel to turn unexpectedly when the clutch is disengaged. Operating at high speeds without proper speed selection may reduce productivity and fuel efficiency. It’s important to avoid frequent overloading and ensure the engine has enough power reserve. For field work, choose a speed that keeps the engine under about 80% load for optimal performance and longevity.

6. The tractor's differential lock should generally remain disengaged during normal operations. However, if the rear wheels begin to slip, such as when stuck in a ditch or soft ground, engage the differential lock by pressing the control pedal. Once engaged, the tractor will not be able to turn, which could lead to tire wear, damage to the central drive, or even a rollover. Use this feature only when necessary and disengage it as soon as possible.

7. When braking, always follow the correct procedure: first reduce the engine throttle, then press the main clutch pedal, and finally gradually apply the service brake. In emergencies, press both the clutch and brake pedals simultaneously. Never place your foot on the brake or clutch pedal while driving. Important note: On public roads, the left and right brake pedals must be interlocked. When parking on an incline, make sure to shift into gear before releasing the brake after turning off the engine—use first gear when going uphill and reverse when going downhill.

8. The front-wheel drive system should be engaged when working in heavy or wet conditions. However, on hard surfaces, it should remain disengaged to prevent unnecessary wear on the front wheels and drivetrain.

9. The hydraulic output valve controls the four-wheel drive function. Tractors typically come with a single-acting or double-acting hydraulic valve, which allows the operator to control the implement's cylinder. The pulling machine's hydraulic output valve is set to double-acting at the factory. If a single-acting implement is required, users can adjust it accordingly.

10. Fuel and oil requirements for the tractor:

1) Choose the appropriate diesel grade based on the climate and season. Never mix different grades of diesel fuel.

2) Fuel and transmission hydraulic oil must be filtered or allowed to settle for at least 48 hours before use to remove impurities.

3) Never refuel while the engine is running. Avoid filling the tank in hot or sunny conditions, as fuel can expand and overflow. If any fuel spills, wipe it up immediately to prevent fire hazards.
