Modulation of mash feed

In order to increase the nutrition of dairy cows, increase the sweetness, and make cows love to eat, various kinds of concentrates such as sorghum noodles, corn flour, wheat bran, and rice bran etc. can be saccharified and fed to make a part of the starch into maltose and feed. The sugar content can be increased from 1% to 10%.


The saccharified corn, sorghum and other feeds are crushed and then placed in wooden barrels or cylinders. The appropriate amount of salt and minerals are added and mixed evenly. About 0.5 centimeters per unit, 1 part of feed plus 2.0 to 2.5 parts of boiled hot water, while stirring and evenly hot, leveling and then loaded layer by layer. After filling up, cover the top of the feed with a layer of rice bran or sacks, close the lid and keep warm, preferably in a warm room to promote saccharification. If you can add some big malt in the saccharification feed, it can speed up the saccharification of the feed.

Attention problem

When the feed is saccharified, it is necessary to pay attention to the heat preservation. When the temperature in the cylinder is maintained at 55°C to 65°C, the saccharification can be performed normally for 3 hours to 4 hours. If the room temperature is low, it is necessary to postpone the feeding time. After the feed is saccharified (standard for feed to sweet and sour), feed immediately to prevent rancidity. According to the characteristics of fast saccharification, in the production of saccharification feeds, it should be based on the number of cattle and the amount of feed and the room temperature of the day to be flexible, batch-wise, planned supply, feeding continuously.

Fermentation feed modulation

Primer fermentation

Because of the high price of fermented yeast, it is necessary to prepare yeast seeds before fermentation of a large amount of feed, and leave it as a starter for fermentation, which can reduce the cost of feed preparation. Taking 100 kg of feed as an example, first take 0.6 kg to 1.0 kg of baker's yeast, add 45 to 50 liters of warm water at 40°C to 50°C, dilute to 20 kg of corn, sorghum, and bran, and mix well. The mixture was stirred for 1 time between 20 minutes and 30 minutes, and the primer was prepared after room temperature fermentation for 4 hours to 6 hours. Then 100 liters to 150 liters of water and the remaining 80 kilograms of concentrate are added, and the mixture is stirred once every 1 hour, and it takes 6 hours to 9 hours to make the fermented feed.

Direct Fermentation

First add 160kg to 200kg of water to the fermentation tank, dilute it with baker's yeast (0.5kg to 1.0kg of yeast plus 5 liters of warm water), add 100kg of concentrate, stir once every 30 minutes, after 6 hours to 9 Hours make fermented feed.

Yeast fermentation

First use yeast as an "enzyme enzyme" and then ferment. In 40 kg of mash feed, 1 kg of yeast was added and stirred every 20 minutes to 25 minutes. The "enzyme preparation" required 6 hours. Then 20 kg of "enzyme enzyme" was added to 110 to 150 liters of warm water and 80 kg of feed was added for fermentation. The remaining 20 kilograms of "enzymes" can be added to 20 kilograms of saccharified feeds and stirred to make "enzymes", which can be fermented five times in succession.
