After a certain period of use, agricultural tractors may be deemed unsuitable for further operation and are subject to scrapping if they meet any of the following conditions:
1. Large-scale rail tractor tractors that have been in service for more than 12 years (or have accumulated 15,000 hours of operation) may be scrapped. Even after inspection, adjustment, or replacement of worn parts, their technical condition remains at level 4.1 or 4.2.
2. Large- and medium-sized wheeled tractors that have exceeded 15 years of service (or 18,000 hours of operation) may also be scrapped. If, after maintenance, their technical status is still classified as 4.1 or 4.2, they no longer meet operational standards.
3. Small tractors that have been used for over 10 years (or 12,000 hours of operation) may be considered for scrapping. If, after repairs, their technical condition is still 4.1 or 4.3, they are no longer fit for use.
4. Tractors that have suffered serious damage due to various reasons and cannot be repaired are also eligible for scrapping. This includes:
- **Article 4.1:** A fuel consumption increase of more than 20% compared to the factory-specified value under calibrated conditions.
- **Article 4.2:** A reduction in effective power or power output shaft power of large and medium tractors by more than 15% from the factory-specified value.
- **Article 4.3:** A reduction in effective power of small tractors by more than 15% from the factory-specified value.
5. If the cost of a major overhaul exceeds 50% of the price of a new tractor of the same type, it is generally not economically viable to repair the machine.
6. Tractors that have not reached their retirement period but are in poor technical condition and lack access to necessary spare parts may also be scrapped.
7. In cases where the government has issued a directive to phase out certain models, those tractors must be retired regardless of their current condition.
These regulations ensure that only safe and efficient tractors remain in use, promoting both environmental responsibility and economic efficiency in agricultural operations.
