Brief introduction of meat goose breeding technology

I. Preparation before entering the young

(1) To inspect and clean the brooding house and sports ground, prepare thermal insulation equipment and fences. The brooding houses can be used as ready-made houses or low-cost straw sheds that require insulation, hygiene, dryness, and good ventilation. The playing field is relatively flat.

(b) Thoroughly sterilize indoor and outdoor premises and feeding equipment. The wall, ceiling and floor were first brushed with quicklime, then fumigated with formalin and potassium permanganate (15ml of formalin and 7.5g of potassium permanganate per cubic meter of space) and opened after 24 hours. Thoroughly ventilated, spare.

(c) Stabilize the temperature in the house at 28°C to 30°C, and padded the grass within each 1.5 square meter fence.

Second, brooding

(a) tide mouth. After the goslings arrive at the scene, they are placed in a fence and an average of 40 animals are stocked on each fence. Place two trays and a drinker in each pen. The goslings must drink water before they eat. After 24 hours of hatching, the goslings can use 0.02% potassium permanganate solution to the mouth of the tide. For individual goslings that do not drink water, they can press their heads into the drinking fountains. In the future, it should be allowed to drink warm boiled water containing 5% multidimensional glucose (electrolytic multidimensional better) and ciprofloxacin to eliminate fatigue, restore strength, and prevent intestinal diseases.

(b) open food. After the tide, you can eat it. Starter feeds can be made with goose or broiler feeds. 1 to 5 days old material ratio was 1:1, 6 to 10 days old was 1:2 to 1:3, 11 to 25 days old was 1:4 to 1:8, and 26 to 30 days old was 1:9 To 1:12. 1 to 3 days of age can be fed 5 to 6 times a day, 4 to 10 days of age to feed 7 to 8 times, 11 to 30 days of age to feed 5 to 6 times a day, including 15 days before feeding every day 2 The next night's food, after 15 days of feeding, feeds once a night, and it is appropriate to feed 80% of goslings each time.

(c) Temperature. The initial week should not be less than 28°C, and then fall 1°C~2°C every week. At the age of 21 days, the temperature is lowered to 20°C. Afterwards, it should be gradually adjusted to the natural temperature according to the actual situation, which is called desuperheating. At night, they should be regularly driven by duty officers to prevent goslings from squeezing and suffocating. (Appendix: The temperature of the back of the gosling shall prevail.)

(d) Humidity. The relative humidity of the goslings should be 60%~65%. It should be kept clean and dry, and the bedding should be replaced and dried.

(five) stocking density. The rearing density per square meter was 15 to 20 on days 1-7, 10 to 15 on days 8-14, 10 on days 15-21, and 6 on days 22-30. Good conditions can properly increase the stocking density.

(f) Ventilation. Properly open the window and keep the air fresh in the geese. People do not feel sulking after entering the house, not irritating eyes and nose, but should avoid the intrusion of thief wind, and maintain the temperature inside the house.

(seven) lighting. It is advisable to maintain the daily light for 16-18 hours. A 25-watt bulb is installed in each house to allow the goslings to normally feed. This will facilitate their night feeding and prevent crowding and management.

(viii) Water release and grazing. After 10 days of goslings, if the temperature is appropriate, you can start grazing. Grazing twice a day, once in the morning and one in the afternoon, each time the grazing time should be controlled at 0.5 to 1 hour, after which the grazing time should be extended as the age increases. Rainy days should stop grazing. Goslings can begin to release water around the age of 15 days. Each time the water is released is about 15 minutes, and it can be extended afterwards, but it is better not to exceed 1 hour.

(9) Hygiene and disinfection. Should clean up inside and outside the geese health, drinking fountains and trays should be cleaned daily, weekly goose house disinfection 1 inside and outside.

Third, breeding and management of geese

Goslings are raised to the age of about 1 month and they enter the breeding geese stage. At this time, the development of the digestive organs of the goose gradually improved and the digestive ability was enhanced. Grazing should be the mainstay. Goose breeds from 200 to 300 birds per day and is grazing. It is advisable to start grazing around 9 o'clock every day, 2 to 3 hours in the morning and 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon. The summer weather is hot and grazing should stop at noon. Where water is available, reasonable arrangements should be made for the time of water release.

Breeding geese have strong appetite, rapid growth and development, and lack of grass resources. They should supplement grass, leaves or mixed concentrates. Concentrate formulation: corn 47%, wheat bran 15%, grass flour or rice bran 20%, fish meal 10%, bone meal 1%, shell powder 2%, yeast powder 4%, salt 1%. The feeding time can be selected at noon or evening. After 75 days of age, the goose can grow to 4 kg and can be sold at the right place.
