The microfiber technology utilizes the ultrafine spinning technology in the field of nonwovens, the electrospinning method (ES method). The study found that the resulting fiber membrane has similar properties to the skin keratin that has fallen off after sunburn, and integrates techniques such as instruments, electricity, raw materials, safety, and structural analysis. The thinner the film formed by this method, the closer it is to the edge, so that it naturally conforms to the skin and the boundary between the skin and the film is not seen. In the process of developing microfiber technology, the team studied the miniaturization of the device and the optimal voltage and flow control in order to form a stable ultra-thin film in daily life.
The research results will be published in journals of related disciplines such as fiber engineering and dermatology.
