These chemicals can poison the biogas system and stop gas production entirely. The solution is to remove half of the existing material and replace it with new, harmless organic matter. Then, add clean water and introduce beneficial bacteria to help restart the digestion process and restore the proper pH balance. Regular monitoring and careful management of inputs are essential to maintain a healthy and efficient biogas system.
