This novel series of oligosaccharide biopesticides has the characteristics of no drug resistance, safety, non-toxicity and low dose, through induction of plant immune response or inhibition of pathogenic microorganisms. Researchers at the Dalian Institute of Materials Science and Technology used deep fermentation technology and enzymatic extraction and separation technology, enzyme reaction and membrane separation coupled modern biochemical reaction engineering technology to successfully develop Zhongke No.2, No.3 and No.6 oligosaccharide biopesticides. Oligosaccharide biopesticides have already achieved the industrialization of pilot test results in Dalian Kaifei Chemical Co., Ltd., and from production in 2000 to production of 150 tons of products in 2001, a total of 1.4 million mu of demonstration and promotion area has been applied in 17 provinces and cities across the country.
