The weather is dry and hot in the autumn, and the harvester is prone to fire if it is accidentally handled during harvesting. To this end, when using the combine harvester each machine operator should pay attention to the following points of fire prevention knowledge.
First, the cause of the fire
1) Short circuit in electrical equipment. The main reason is the neglect of the inspection of electrical circuits, random wiring, and troubleshooting of electrical faults is not timely.
2) Exhaust pipe fires or overheats. Prolonged overloading or late engine fueling is the main cause of accidents.
3) Turbocharger or gasoline starter carburetor failure.
4) Careless operation or maintenance. The grounding of the iron during maintenance creates a strong spark that can easily ignite diesel or surrounding combustibles.
Second, fire prevention measures
1) Keep the harvester in good technical condition. Before the harvester enters into effect, it shall carefully check and maintain. It shall be “five nets†(oil, water, gas, machinery, tools), “four-leakage†(oil, water, gas, electricity) and “six closed†(diesel tanks). Mouth, fuel tank port, oil filling port, carburetor, magneto motor, oil inspection port), "one complete" (technical state).
2) Always check electrical equipment. Look for loose wire connections and damage to the equipment. The wire connectors shall be firmly connected with the bolts of the spring washers; the circuit harnesses and wires shall be put on plastic tubes; the batteries shall have good protective equipment.
3) Maintain good engine and starter performance. Always check the starting time of the oil engine to prevent the carburetor tempering; always check the quality of the exhaust pipe and fuel; the engine host should be equipped with a Mars collector.
4) Correct operation and control of the engine. Do not overload for a long time during operation. Control the engine speed and do not bang the throttle. When the engine is overheated, it should be stopped and cooled. Regularly add fuel and water.
5) Equipped with necessary fire protection equipment. Such as fire extinguishers, sandbags, sacks.
