Guizhou Discovers 300 Million Years Old Ancient Rare Living Creatures in China (Photos)

Experts recently discovered more than 1200 ancient rare creatures in the territory of Guiding County, Guizhou Province, China’s Xiaoyan. This discovery provides an important scientific basis for studying the evolution of animals and the ecological environment of paleontology.

The reporter learned from the Guiding County Fishery Station that relevant experts recently discovered Chinese oysters in a number of towns and villages such as Yanxia Township and Duliu Township in Guiding County. This rare species, along with a large number of large storks, lives in the clear Xitan Lake. Only experts from Yanxia Township discovered thousands of Chinese crickets.

According to briefings, China’s Xiaoyan is in the same period as the dinosaurs 300 million years ago. It is a “living fossil” that remains in nature. Its body shape is similar to that of the Chinese monk. It was first discovered in Yichang, Hubei, China. In 1986, it was included in the National Endangered Species Red Book by the National Endangered Species Scientific Committee.

Experts believe that it is a good ecological condition that has allowed this and Dinosaur contemporary species to continue today. It is understood that the original forest in Yanxia Township is well-preserved and the forest coverage rate is over 40%. There are more than 100 streams and there are waterfalls, spring pools, and deep pools on the mountains. This ecological environment is suitable for the survival of ancient creatures. The relevant departments have already taken protective measures against more than 1,200 Chinese crickets discovered this time.
