Biogas slurry technology

Biogas slurry contains many substances that are beneficial to pig growth, such as amino acids, zinc, iron, copper, and vitamin C, B2, etc. It is a very good feed additive. It has been estimated that the appropriate addition of biogas slurry to conventional feeds can increase pigs’ average weight gain by more than 15%, and it can also significantly reduce the incidence of epidemics. The use of biogas slurry to feed pigs is simple and safe to use. The specific methods are as follows: 1. The piglet stage (with a body weight of 25 kg or less) shall be started in feed after epidemic prevention, deworming, stomach-building, and castration (ie, castration) according to conventional methods. A small amount of biogas slurry is added to cultivate the palatability of the piglet; after about 10 days, it can be fed at a rate of 0.5 kg 4 times a day. Second, shelf pig stage (body weight 25-50 kg), at this time the pig bone development, the amount of biogas slurry should be increased accordingly. Usually 3-4 times a day, each 0.75 to 1 kg, such as adding a small amount of bone in the feed, fish meal, more obvious weight gain. Third, the fattening stage (weight 50-100 kg), during this period the pig is fully developed, the amount of biogas slurry should be increased to 1-1.5 kg each time, 3 times a day. Fourth, when the weight of a pig reaches more than 100 kg, the weight gain rate will decrease. This stage can be added at a rate of 1.5-2 kg of biogas slurry each time, three times a day. Adding biogas slurry to pigs should pay attention to the following matters: Diseased, non-producing or biodegradable biogas slurry is prohibited from feeding pigs. 2. The biogas digester newly built or refueled must be used normally for 1 month before it can be used to feed the biogas slurry to the pigs. The biogas slurry is best extracted from the middle of the discharge chamber. Than 3. After the biogas slurry is taken out, the ammonia gas should be allowed to evaporate, and it is usually left for about half an hour before feeding. 4. Biogas slurry is only an additive and cannot be used as a substitute for conventional feeds. Only on the basis of satisfying the requirements of the pig's diet, the addition of biogas slurry can show the effect. 5. In the process of feeding with biogas slurry, if the pig has symptoms of diarrhea, it should immediately stop feeding, and after the symptoms disappear, resume the biogas slurry feeding.
